Even though we were exhausting ourselves...we have a somewhat less active day—going on the fantastic Kenai Fjords Tour!!
Time for a delicious breakfast at a new-to-me cafe—Zudy’s...in the restored historic train depot...and then a nice stroll through the marina while we waited for the boarding call.
All Aboard!!...trust me...we saw lots of wildlife....orcas, stellar sea lions, otters, sea birds...the overcast weather conditions just weren’t so conducive for good photos!!
GREAT day’s activity!!...dinner at the Goliath Bar & Grill at the Resurrection Lodge...near tonight’s KOA camp.
BTW Tidbit # 3: As a road warrior...the quality or lack of quality of RV Park bathrooms...can almost make or break a day!! Last night’s Miller Landing—pitiful!!...tonight’s KOA Park—BEAUTIFUL!!...second only to one stop on the drive up to AK this year. SHUCKS!!...we have to go back to Miller’s Landing again tomorrow night!! AARGH!!...IF it wasn’t for the VIEW at Miller’s Landing...I would rate it lower than 1out of 5!!...paper towels...a sink with space on the sides to put your stuff...clean...new...love it!!
