Black bear mama and cub, two other separate black bears, a small brown bear, a mama moose and twin babies...and a bazillion buffalo at different times along the way!!
I saw something biggish and darkish down the road a ways...and then we saw a dozen or so mama and baby buffaloes all running down the road toward us. We stopped in the middle of the road and they ran right by us on to who knows where!! It was SO SURREAL!! We couldn't believe our luck!!
I would have totally been excited with the herd of buffalo.
