Alaska...day 10...tourism continued

Next came lunch...at a restaurant!!...days of eating dried nuts and fruit and dry cereal...and canned beans left everyone cherishing the hearty meals we'd eat OUT!!

A quick stop in Girdwood for an ice cream cone...and then off to Byron Glacier.  The glacier was quite disappointing. The glacier had receded so far back that you really are only climbing around on some packed snow that is still too thick to have yet melted. Not sure I'd add this on to the next tour. Just a little scenery left to enjoy.
