The road between Kinaskan Lake and Prince George was MUCH BETTER!! YEA!!...and there were some lovely mountains to start the morning.
We saw more bears, moose, squirrels, rabbits...but still not the elusive elk and caribou. I'm afraid we may have missed our chance on this trip for those creatures.
We stopped at a lovely visitors' center and cute little coffee shop in Burns Lake...for a pick-me-up...and a stretch!!
We each had mixed emotions as the roads got wider...and better...we passed through more houses/towns...with the lower elevation came different trees, hay fields, cows, horses...civilization!! AARGH!!...for me!!
The RV park tonight is very patriotic...with both US and Canadian flags everywhere. Laundry...showers...a good night's rest and then off to Seattle tomorrow!!
