AK Adventure Day 4–to Whitecourt, Alberta

We skirted the eastern edge of the Rockies again today.

Cold morning leaving Shelby, MT...but the RV park there was the bomb!! The MOST FANTASTIC public shower/restroom facility I’ve EVER SEEN!! SHUCKS!!...I should have taken a picture!! It was connected to the Comfort Inn...so we even had access to the hotel pool/hot tub!!

Out of Montana...through the Canadian border crossing with no hassles!!

The southern and central parts of Alberta that we saw is mostly farm land. A lot of wheat, barley and canola are grown here.

LOTS of beautiful, huge barns!!...I’d take one!!

It warmed up the farther north/west we went...we got out of that crazy storm activity that had moved down and across Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. We saw on the weather app that it was snowing today in Sheridan, WY...and other places we had gone through ...we decided our full moon departure on the 18th was certainly an auspicious day for us!!

It was 63 degrees when we arrived in Whitecourt, AB...with a low of 43...AOK by me!!

I’m LOVING the BIG SKY of the vistas in this trip!!...the Great Plains...prairies...beautiful!!
...I guess it will just be a continued annoyance that the photos don’t post in chronological order!!...oh, well...just know that is how it is going to be!!...AARGH!!
